Join us for a 4D3N trip to Penang + KL!

It's our third and final 2025 road trip of the year, and we're heading to Penang + KL!

It's a 4D3N over-the-weekend arrangement, so let's go have a great time together plus fun driving!

Penang: Zoom Hotel (2 nights)

KL: Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya (1 night)

As usual, we will give everyone an individual room, because private space is great! If you outright prefer to share, please let us know.

This is a free-and-easy trip. We will plan an itinerary, so that we all have things to do, but nothing is required.

Cost

$465 per pax, includes all accommodation, and 1 club dinners.

$245 per +1, includes shared accommodation, and 1 club dinners.

Drive and Trip Preparations

Car: Please ensure that your car is in good working condition, as far as you are able to do so. Please also bring any additional fluids you feel are necessary.

Meet timing: Please ensure that you are at Eco Galleria by 6am, give or take 15 minutes. From previous experience, if we depart later than 6.30am, traffic builds up and the drive is slower and not as pleasant. If you are intending to fuel up or buy trip necessities, please also cater time for that.

Checkpoint congestion: From previous experience, traffic at the 2nd link / checkpoint starts to build up between 5.30am and 6am, so please take that into account.

Essentials: Please remember your passport, money, and touch and go card (ensure it is topped up). Please ensure that your VEP is working, or your application process is sufficiently advanced to allow you to cross into Malaysia without issue. You may also want to setup your MyICA QR code beforehand.

Walkies: We will be using walkies for comms throughout the drive. Those that have the noto walkies (with the noto frequencies), please bring them. Also, please ensure they're charged. If you do not have a walkie, we have spare sets available, please let me know who needs a set.

Mobile data: Please ensure that you have mobile data access, so that you can (obviously) access this WhatsApp group, and we can get in touch easily if walkies go out of range, or fail.
