Latest news update about LTA Access Code

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has introduced a One‑Time Access Code on its OneMotoring portal, replacing the previous practice of using the last four characters of NRIC/FIN from 30 June 2025

Vehicle owners must log in to OneMotoring with Singpass to generate a six-digit access code for authorised dealers or vendors. This gives you control over who can access sensitive vehicle information.

You Will Need An Access Code To:

  1. Enquire PARF/COE Rebate
  2. PQP payable under the Early Turnover Scheme for Category C vehicles
  3. Enquire Vehicle Transfer Fee

How To Request the Access Code

  1. Visit OneMotoring, and select Request Access Code in the home page, under the Popular Digital Services section.
Alternatively, you can log in with Singpass, and search for Access Code in the search bar. Select Request Access Code (Requires Login).
  2. Select the vehicle you want to apply the access code for.
  3. Enter the recipient’s mobile number (and optional email), tick the terms box, then click Request Access Code. (Recipient may be you, your dealer or anyone you would like to give your access code to)
  4. The system will display the six-digit code and send it via SMS (and email, if provided) to the nominated recipient; this code is valid for 14 calendar days or until revoked. (Tip: Save it as a PDF to easily access it the next time!)

Note: The code is valid for up to 14 calendar days and can be used multiple times by the recipient to access permitted services, such as PARF/COE rebate, PQP for ETS, or transfer fee.

Use of the Access Code

To Enquire PARF/COE Rebate for Registered Vehicle:

  1. Access the Enquire PARF/COE Rebate for Registered Vehicle page here.
  2. Enter your 6-digit Access Code, along with your Vehicle Number and Intended Deregistration Date (if unsure, you may put today’s date).

Revoke the Access Code

You can revoke the code at any time via OneMotoring:

  • Search for Access Code in the search bar, select Revoke Access Code. Select the Access Code you wish to cancel when shown, agree to terms, and Revoke Access Code.
  • Revocation is immediate—access terminates as soon as you confirm.

Why This Matters

  • From 30 June 2025, you’ll no longer be able to access your key vehicle details using the last 4 digits of your NRIC and car plate number.
